
(publisher) is a multilingual author, translator, publisher at Verlagshaus Berlin and managing director of the Jewish Ernst Ludwig Ehrlich Studienwerk (ELES). He grew up in Southend-on-Sea (UK), Kiel and Heidelberg.
Jo Frank lives in Berlin. From 2009 to 2011 he conducted the German-Israeli exchange project “Alltag” together with the illustrator Felix Scheinberger. As part of this exchange Frank taught at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. In 2009, together with cellist Julian Arp and pianist Caspar Frantz, Jo Frank initiated the international Zeitkunst festival. The festival brings contemporary international poetry and new music into a dialogue. To date Zeitkunst Festival has been staged in Berlin, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Tel Aviv and London.
